Yin Yang Yoga

An event every week that begins at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, repeating until December 31, 2020

Yin Yang Yoga blends two styles of yoga into one practice – bringing together the benefits of passively holding yoga poses with more dynamic sequences and standing postures. This class will combine the active and traditional asana based practice of yang yoga with that of the passive and grounding practice of yin yoga. The first half of the class will be Yang, and the second half of the class with be Yin. There will be a 15-minute relaxation / savanna at the end of class.

  • *  Increases stamina
  • *  Calms the mind down by linking body and breath
  • *  Removes tension and obstacles in the body to allow breath and prone (life force) flow

  • * Improves flexibility and joint mobility
  • * Calms and balances the mind and body
  • * Reduces stress and anxiety
  • * Works deeply on the connective tissue (fascia, tendons and ligaments)

* Prepares the practitioner for meditation
