Orthopedic Acupuncture

One of the main reasons people seek out acupuncture is because they are in pain. In Chinese medicine, pain acts as a sign that something in the body is imbalanced or needs extra care. We provide specialized acupuncture and bodywork treatments to help you overcome pain, injuries, and orthopedic conditions.

Pediatric Acupuncture

Acupuncture is for kids, too! At On-Point Health and Wellness, we specialize in holistic treatments for a variety of pediatric health conditions. Our gentle approach uses acupressure (gentle massaging of acupuncture points), non-needle tools to stimulate points and acupuncture channels, lasers, light electrical current, non-fire cupping, and lifestyle recommendations.

Parents must authorize these treatments and accompany the child on their visit. The initial appointment lasts around 45 minutes. Follow-up treatments last around 30 minutes.

Micro-acupuncture

While acupuncture is thousands of years old, we are always learning new ways to stimulate the body’s healing processes. A relatively new system of acupuncture called micro-acupuncture uses 48 special points on the hands and feet to powerfully heal a range of eye disorders and pain conditions.

What Is

Electrical Stimulation

Electro-acupuncture refers to the application of a pulsating electrical current to acupuncture points on the body. While electro-acupuncture may be used as a component of almost all acupuncture treatments, it has garnered especially good results regarding the treatment of neurological diseases, chronic pain, spasms, and paralysis. Electro-acupuncture is often used to speed healing and enhance performance in athletes.

What is Dry Needling?

Dry needling is a specific needling technique that uses needles in a way that primarily targets trigger points to release, easing muscle tension and pain. Acupuncturists commonly use dry needling techniques along with traditional acupuncture to provide a well-rounded and comprehensive treatment. We perform dry needling in conjunction with acupuncture therapy to help our patients fully heal from their pain and underlying issues.
